A Rebrand for a Progressive Future

Thomas Mansfield Solicitors is a growing and highly regarded law firm, renowned for its expertise in family, employment, and wills & probate law. The firm now operates divisions across multiple locations, including London, Tunbridge Wells, and Guildford.

As the firm expanded and evolved, it became evident that a corporate rebrand and website refresh were essential. The primary objectives were to ensure consistency across divisions and to reflect their modern and progressive approach more accurately.

Overview

Claire approached me to assist with the rebrand, and I worked closely with her, Neill Thomas, and the wider team. Together, we unified the firm’s brand identity, streamlined its marketing collateral, and developed a scalable solution to support its future growth.

 

The Branding Refresh

The rebrand centred on creating a unified identity that allowed each division to maintain its unique character while ensuring cohesion across the firm. Key elements included:

  • A New Logo: We designed a modern logo and introduced a logo marque, drawn from the company’s initials, for use in smaller applications where the full logo lacked impact.
  • Brand Guidelines: A comprehensive set of brand guidelines was developed to ensure consistency across all divisions, incorporating distinct feature colours for each.
  • Corporate Stationery: New business cards, letterheads, compliment slips, notepads, fact sheets, folders, and pull-up banners were designed to align with the refreshed identity.
  • Social Media Graphics: A full set of social media graphics were designed inline with the new branding. These were rolled out for both personal and company LinkedIn profiles. Alongside Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Website Design: A total overhaul of the company website design and structure was carried out. A new, modern and responsive website theme was designed to take the company forwards online. 

The Results

The rebrand provided Thomas Mansfield Solicitors with a cohesive and refreshed image, aligning with their ambitions and positioning the firm for future expansion. The new identity supports both their current operations and long-term growth plans.

A standout part of the project involved supporting the launch of a forward-thinking Family Law office on Tunbridge Wells High Street. This included advising on paint colours, interior design, and signage to create a space that reflected the firm's modern ethos.
